Tony,I don't know much about making bearings. Pending Ray Harlan's
production of excellent bearings stopping, I'll learn some day. I do recall
an old INAV issue with details on how to make bearings, but I think its on
the achieve disc. Can someone correct me on this?
For Ambroid you want to use 100% pure acetone, you can get this from
painting or the nail polish section of supermarket. The sections correspond
to how much of it you want to buy at one time. The key is to keep from
adding any unnecessary chemicals to your glue. I personally like to dry my
Ambroid on a sheet of glass and then redissolve it in pure acetone. This
eliminates the slower drying solvents.
