Bill, I'm not claiming "can't," only that *I* couldn't, after various attempts. I seem to worry a lot about controlling the variables--and now you mention another one--winding technique. If and when I try again, it will be via stretching, not winding.
Basically saying it ain't easy (done correctly) and my hat's off (especially) to anyone who has contest wins or records as a result of rubber testing.
