Rubber?

I am not familiar with the FAI "Sport and Supersport" rubber that is
now sold, other than general comment that they are less energetic than
old Tan II.

Are they like Tan II with some batches better than others? Batch dates?
Competitive? Has anyone worked with the "new" products to optimize
time/duration?
