I think that makes you the record holder for torque meter length! I thought mine were long at about a foot.

  I made my torque meter using .015 diameter wire, it was what the hobby
  shop had. In order to be able to use it for EZB I used a long torque
  wire about 2 feet which gives me. This also gave me more room for
  error with lengths of wire.
