When an F1D motorstick bows, I think the dominant change is in the
incidence of the stab. You get only a little downthrust (especially
with a wing that is mounted near the front of the motorstick), but a
lot of down elevator. Which is good because with a VP prop you aren't
getting a whole lot of thrust to aim down at that point.

The model simply acts like you relaxed its nose-up attitude a bit.
When I fly the same model with more initial thrust (i.e. lower high
pitch, as in the salt mine) it doesn't nose down even further, but
rather climbs more.
