 I normally work on either formica or plate glass. Glass over the work area
is great if you use a lot of CA or acetone because It keep you from ruining
the building surface. Also, I use weights, either coins or little pieces of
lead to keep from damaging the wood. This also helps to prevent building in
and ignoring warps as you build.
