Aki San,
You would be surprised at how few (and FAR) opportunities flyers in
USA have for sanctioned low ceiling flying at a decent site (Cat II
and III especially.) For Cat II, one day per year (Kent State, Ohio)
is all I know about.
I agree, the AMA Cat II Pennyplane record is too low. At a
sanctioned contest, I once had PP flight ONE second behind the
present Cat II record in a 27' ceiling. (This is about 5 inches
above a Cat I limit, probably the lowest Cat II anywhere.)
None of the above is to minimize your accomplishments even with your
apparently often available good sites. You are the Indoor Phenom!
