Aki san,
the bracing is of polypropylene thread (similar to kevlar, but thinner
and to my understanding stiffer). It is glued on without pretension. But
I tried to bend the stick in my fingers, and did not notice any
significant bent under reasonable forces. So if you suggest that the
motor stick is bowing, introducing reduced decalage and downthrust, that
does not seem to be the case. I have to check for that, though, with
rubber motor in place.
Meanwhile, I guess I should make a couple of wire spacers to bring the
motor back and test different positions, before cutting down the tube or
moving wing forward. Will have the next trimming posibility on Saturday.
