As for the MW State Champs, the last time I talked with Bob Warmann(about 3 weeks ago) he told me it was not going to be held next year. Issues about availability and rising costs appear to be the main reasons. It is a shame, it was a very nice event for many years.

One more reminder that the last Indoor National Cup event of 2008 is coming up soon at the Colorado Springs Auditorium. November 9th, 9am-5pm, Cat II (37 feet smooth). Email me privately if you want a contest flyer.
Also, we are in the final planning stages for the Pikes Peak Ceiling Climb Mk. III, for Spring of 2009. Can someone tell me the dates for Kent State and also the MW States Champs? Obviously we'd like to avoid those dates.
Also, for those who are likley to make the trip for PPCC, we are considering changing to a single day (Saturday) format, and run the flying hours from 9am-9pm. We're experiencing a steep rent increase from the City and feel a one day format wouldn't be too unattractive to out-of-towners. What say you guys?
