No, no, the reports of Wright Stuff's demise is premature to say the
least. Its a div B event this year. Says so in the official rules
next to my computer.
Wright Stuff, BLG, and bottle rockets (ewww, but we're working on it,
think helicopters) are in a 6 year rotation through the divisions. WS
is in div B this year and should be next, bottle rockets in div C.
Then bottle rockets B, BLG C for two years, followed by BLG div B and
WS div C again.
So, yes, we can look forward to Science Olympiad as a venue to
introduce indoor free flight to today's youth, probably for a long time.
Oh, and I partially answered my own question. One key word is tail
volume.
I also see from past notes you used some calculations or program from
Bernie Hunt. Where can I find that?
