Don,

 That is exactly correct, Dave Brown said in no uncertain terms that
the FAI executive council was mandated with reducing the number of
competitors in FAI events as well as trying to disallow any new
events from being added, this to save money for the AMA. It was
embarassing to have been in Belgrade having the only Jr team with 2
members. It was also very unfair to have had Justin in first place,
Tim in second and to have been in dead last for the Jr team placing.
We should not let this just fade away. Everyone also needs to keep in
mind that according to the rules at the time of trying to get Curtis
to be allowed to try out there was NOTHING that said he could not, of
course now there is ( as of the 21st of last month ) All those
involved dropped the ball here and completly forgot about the kids
who worked so hard, I am embarassed for all of them--- In
