Gary,

The FAC rules for No-Cal score the TOTAL of three official flights. An
official flight is 20 seconds or longer.

Other important FAC rules for No-Cal:

- Motor sticks shall not exceed fuselage length.
- All wing struts must be on model.
- Model must be in correct color scheme.
- Models must have control outlines, registration numbers, etc.
- Contestants must have proof of scale. Judge's decisions are final.
- Models with fixed landing gear must have each landing gear represented as
per the original subject.

Regarding motor stick length, at the last USIC I attended a few years back a
noted and successful modeler had a Lacy No-Cal with a motor stick that
protruded beyond the nose a full 1/4 to 1/3 of the motor stick length. It
looked ridiculous, and should have been DQ'd.
