I would be curious as to the origin of this rule also... With the
6.2g limit, about the only thing that is competitive is a Hosler, and
I for one would fly No-Cal if the weight limit was eliminated, or
-greatly- reduced... (I think that 3g would be a good starting
point... that would be low enough that most any plane could be made
to be competitive...)
