At a recent club meeting I was told that the AMA NoCal (might be called
profile scale) rules included a minimum weight limit of 6.2 grams, as opposed to
the FAC rules which have no minimum weight limit. I can't find any AMA rules
for a NoCal (profile scale ) event. Does the AMA have such an event? If not,
does anyone know the origin of the 6.2 gram minimum for NoCal as flown at the
USIC & the rational for it?
