Ah, you are referring to the enhanced lengthwise splittability of
sliced ribs at an inch or so leading to LE and TE. That's
something "sliced ribbers" live with, and it's only a problem in ground
handling, not flight loads. But you could probably have the best of
both worlds if you make a straight rib (staight on bottom) with a
higher middle area, then wet bend rib to the desired camber.
Think I'll try that myself. A little problem may be spring back.
