I have a local source for excellent 4-6 lb balsa in 4x24" sheets. It is
Mountain Models, an RC kit company that weighs and sorts every sheet of wood
wood by density, so the 4-6 really IS 4-6. The owner (Brian Eberwein) may
even pick out some c-grain if you ask for it.

You're pretty much at the mercy of places like Balsa USA or Lonestar.
Maybe someone else can point you in the right direction.
