The most successful local LittleSquare is using the high performance
wing design shown as an alternate on the plan. I believe this is an 8%
camber. It seems to be about half a minute better than the plain vanilla
wing in a low ceiling.

I haven't had much experience with Super Sport since I have a lot of Tan
II. Last Friday I was helping a team flying a nicely built one of Dave's
models on .095 SS and the backwards Ikara prop that he supplies. They
topped out at about 1 1/2 minutes. A change to .095 2/98 TanII put them
at around 2:15. They are changing to the bigger prop and will be flying
on .100 7/02 next time.

The Chamblee team has 2 LittleSquares using the modified wing section
and the big prop. They are in the 3 1/2 minute range in 25 feet also
flying on .100 7/02.

I think the big prop requires heavy rubber for low ceilings. For a
higher ceiling maybe a little less would be okay. If you have to use SS
I'd probably go somewhere over .100. But 10% turns left is not bad so
maybe your model is flying on less power than these.

My best luck with the big Ikara has been with the TE of the blades cut
off flush with the spar and the pitch set around 14.
