Hi Erich,
That's my absolute favorite model airplane book. Now that I think
about it, I might even consider it more essential than the balsa
stripper and scale I recommended to Mark.
The information in it is great, although there are some parts that
are a little dated. The flying surface covering is one. These days
we use thin polyester film instead of condensor paper. You can find
it in varying thicknesses from several sources: f1d.biz, Ray Harlan,
osfilm.com, Roy White, etc. There are articles on indoorduration.com
and I think this group's files section describing the techniques used
with this film.
