If my memory serves me well, the $ 250 figure was mentioned few
years ago as a fee to have a stopwatch calibrated to be able to
claim a FAI record. The context, I believe, was a flight of over 60
minutes by John Kagan.

If, the stopwatch calibration fee is still valid, would this be in
top of the $ 100 mentioned by Aki? (Not that I am anyway near to
claim a world record!)
