I use Teflon washers I got from micro X pressed onto the end of the shaft then a drop of amberoid glue to hold it in place. A little acetone allows removing the shaft for repair or spring changing

  A brief, stupid question: what material, what method to use at the stop of
  VP prop axis, to keep the hub together? I see plastic disks and similar in
  pictures of peoples VP hubs, but my own attempts have been too loose, not
  keeping the setup together. Suggestions?
