   Whether F1D,F1M or L or even ministick for many years I have braced the
tip radius diagonally
   with a single strand of 'Karma' wire. That is a soft wire of 0.7 thou.
thickness. It is effective
   and weighs virtually nothing. I tension the wire with a piece of paper
tape at each end.
