Good hearing from you too. Tem Johnson and I
talked about this some time ago. I believe Tem would
take a similar position to Fred's and mine.
I do agree with you this proposal could be better
written. I also think if a rule needs to exist or
change, your comment about limiting the weight of the
rudder used would make more sense. Stan Buddenbohm
told me about an outdoor contest he went to sometime
last year, where they flew catapult(I think he called
it FAI Catapult), with rounds like F1H towline does
and they did limit the rubber by weight. He indicated
that he liked these rules and they worked well.
