I've already put in my 2 cents so I'm going for a nickel this time.

I've seen MANY events decided in the last hour or even in the last 5
minutes. While there are undoubtedly some competitors who can put up
one flight and win an event there are many others who have to hit their
peak by experimentation through repeated attempts. With events that
involve long flight times it's even harder to fit 5 or 6 attempts into
a time bracket. The only place I can think of where time isn't critical
might be Kibbe.

Socializing is great but most of us are spending huge sums of money and
time to get to USIC to fly and compete. Let's keep the slots open as
long as possible.
