Hi Bill,
I think we are going to have to have an exact definition of opaque
from the powers that be. So far the aluminum foil suggestion is the
only thing that is truly opaque, according to dictionary definitions.
I would bet that 90% of the models would be D.Q'd on this point.
Their web site says that we can't complain until October 1st.
Another problem is that V-tail designs don't have a "vertical"
surface, again according to dictionary definitions.
And what about models that only use angled tips on flying surfaces
with no true rudders, like mine? For years
full size Bonanzas got along just fine without vertical rudders so
this is nothing new.
