As stated these are good poles I personally know 5 indoor flyers plus myself who have bought this pole from the same ebay seller and we all like it.
It is light and stiff and the best thing is it is only 3' long when retracted so is easy to bring along when flying. Should be stiff enough to get any freeflight plane out of a tree, but may be a little short at 40', but it probably could be attached to another pole for a higher reach.
