No, I'm not intent on that at all, provided you don't mind my trying out some new tap
shoes a few feet away while you are "adjusting torque" in the middle. (j/k)

No "situation" other than the concern I expressed at first, "What if everyone did this, it
would be a mess needing legislation." Maybe other flyers (like I) didn't realize until now
the practice is an accepted option, apparently.
