You shouldn't make up a rule based on what would happen if everyone
did something unless there is a good chance that everyone will do it.
I've seen a few folks with 65CM F1D, light 35MM, IS, and HLS walk out
with their model boxes which had stooge/torque meter on it and wind on
the floor. I guess they didn't want to risk transportation with a
fully wound motor. There were only a few folks who did this so it
really wasn't a problem. If everyone really started to do this, then a
rule would probably make sense.

I guess it could be argued that this gives some folks an unfair
advantage...
