"Hook to hook" distance? I've never heard of that regarding motorstick measurement in any
event. Of course, the Indoor_Construction A-6 Committee revised rules (in our File section)
say,
" Maximum motor stick length 6 inches measured from the thrust
bearing face to the rear hook."

But if an "event sponsor" and CD want to keep a foggier rule set enshrined for whatever
reason, then (yet more) rewriting ain't gonna help the sitchy-ation.
