Hi Greg,
3:38 in a 24' ceiling is very impressive! Was your model a conventional prop
up front model? A pusher? A canard/pusher? Ikara prop? Other prop? We used
an Ikara prop pitched at 12.3 inches and .085" rubber for a 42' ceiling. Our
model was a pusher and its best performance was 4:04 in a 48' ceiling at
Kent. Our performance at the State Contest was less than stellar, but the
10% pusher design bonus threw us up over the top. Also we have benefited
from Bill's and other's posts, files, pictures, and movies in the last three
years. Again your flying is very impressive.
