I have been testing my wakefield motors for quite a few years now, and my
results agree with Freds. I use a stretch method, as winding would be too
hard for multi-strand wakefield motors... 1999 was the prime year of
rubber, and the worse Tan II may be up to 6% down from those batches. The
best Super Sport that I have seen has been up to the level of worst T2, or
about 6% down from best T2, but the worse batches are another 6% down. The
latest SS, Jan07 was a big disappoinment, it was supposed to be ok, but my
tests strongly disagreed.
