Thanks for the reply. I made my post hoping you would respond as you
did.

I too find it aggravating when someone offers analysis and criticism
for things that they appear to know nothing about. Fortunately we have
the luxury of saying, "prove it" and letting the stopwatch measure
anyone's results.

It looks like the Omnicient Modeler isn't going to produce, either he
doesn't get it, or doesn't care. I think that's okay. (Personal
opinion) The "discussion" that has followd his advice, the challenge,
etc., has been very informative. Folks have talked about prop RPM,
rubber torque, winding skills, prop pitch, and whole bunch of other
topics. The top flyers consider all of these things and more. I think
that the duffers have gained a great deal from discussion, I know I
have.

It doesn't take very long before you know who to listen to carefully
and who to largely ignore. Because the messages to this group are
available to search through later, if you made a mistake either way by
listening when you should have been ignoring or visa-versa, you can
revisit things.

Of course this is all just my opinion...
