I've sometimes asked a question here even though I already know the
answer just to get some discussion going. Is this a misuse of the
group?
Until there is a reference site for things, I don't think it is
unreasonable for folks to ask questions, even the dumb ones. I'm one
of the few folks out there who believes there are dumb questions, I've
asked a bunch of them, but it is all good!
It is extremely easy to get lost while surfing the net and not be able
to find something. In this case though, it would have been easy. The
first entry on a google search for "f1d wing chord" points to Fred
Tellier's site.
