The passing of Doug Barber

Hi all;
   It is once again my sad duty to report the passing of Doug Barber.
Doug was the Indoor Contest Board member for District 2 and a long time
indoor modeler. He was part of the team that introduced Federation ROG
to the local club back in the 70's that became a national event at
USIC. He and his wife, Mary Jane, were the event directors for HLG and
CLG there and M.J. was the Bostonian judge for many years. He attended
many of the indoor events at USIC and was a long time member of NIMAS
and ECIM that flies in Hanger 1 at Lakehurst. The indoor comunity is
all the better for having him as a devoted person in this beautiful
hobby.
   A services will be at McCaffrey Sweeney Funeral Home, 6126 Toresdale
Ave. Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday March 31, from 11 to 12:30PM.
Memorial donations may be sent to Samaritan Hospice of Marlton, 5 Eves
Drive, Suite 300, Marlton, N.J. 08053.
