Yes, I hope to do some "serious" flying this year. I've had problems
in the recent past with medical things and with my job (long, hard,
hours, and then getting laid off), but I just started a new job today
and with any luck will be able to get time off to do a little bit of
traveling.
I've got a second F1M on the building board and will start on an F1D
shortly. I was never really happy with my penny plane, so I'm going to
make a new one. Then there is a NOCAL, and another A6. I also want to
make up a bunch of props for LPP, my current setup won't get high
enough, flaring prop made for flying locally didn't get any higher
than around 60 feet at Lakehurst.
I hope to make it out to Rochester and USIC. If the job works out (I
get a raise) I want to try for Kibbe Dome, but if not there, then
Lakehurst over July 4. Definitely Lakehurst over Labor Day.
Too bad our friends from Canada can't fly in Lakehurst.
