Empire State Championships

Just saw the posting on IndoorNews.com about the revived Empire State
Championships now being held in Rochester, NY. Is this a sanctioned
event? Is it an F1D regional?

Looks like a lot of flying for a single day of flying. Is the armory
large enough for both "heavy" and "light" flying at the same time?
