I have three Ikara props, 6", 9.5" and 12". All are can formed, i.e., the
blade lies on a cylinder. That means they are not constant pitch. The blade
angle varies linearly along the radius. On the 9.5" prop, P/D goes from 5.20
at 0.10 radius to 1.46 at 0.95 radius.
Some measure pitch at 0.50 radius, some at 0.67, some at 0.70 and some at
0.75 (and some everywhere).
Bill, at what % radius are you measuring pitch?
The Ikara props could be trimmed along a Piednoir curve to get true helical
pitch.
