I go one step farther. Once I get the clear liquid with a small
amount of amber colored material in the bottom, I put in a clean
container and pop it into the freezer overnight. The amber colored
material will freeze, but the rest remains liquid. I then just pour
off the liquid and toss the rest.
I don't think this improves anything, but it looks better.
