Subject: CYA on rubber...

   From: David Dodge <dannysoar_at_att.net>

   Hi Marty-
I have found that a tiny bit of Cya between the tails does the trick.
Just dont get any on the loop side. I have yet to find out why i am the
   only person doing this :-)

Hey David, how go things?

I've tried CA on rubber and it works pretty well. The problem is that
if you are a klutz like me it is easy to get glue on the "wrong side"
of the loop. I've also managed to nick the rubber with glue that has
stuck to my fingers. Because of this I don't use CA anywhere near
rubber, unless I have to (I've used it to repair a crack in a prop
while the rubber has already been wound).
