To get to the right weight I cut the rubber just a little longer,
maybe 3mm long. I tie the first overhand knot and pull it up close to
the end. I then tie up the second knot and tighten it up and cut off
the end sticking out. If I am over, then I tie another overhand knot,
pull it up against the other knots and cut off the outside
knot. Repeat until you have exactly the right weight. In the worse
case you end up with only one knot's worth less than the desired weight.
