 As much as I want to agree with Bill and you, actually believe it
makes sense cutting spars off for use of tubes in pitching or
repairing makes over whelming common sense to me. The Oxford
dictionary says "Trimming" means "small pieces trimmed off". If
there's another dictionary that say cutting off comletely? I'd go
with it in a heart beat. Till then the problem is still with the
word "Single" describing the prop allowed.

 Bill's video on pitching Ikara prop was nifty solution. Our team
dropped the match fire part because it is hard to apply the correct
amount of heat. The spar twists too quick often for thier skill
level. Try, lighted puck stick the heat is far more manageable. A
heated metal pin touched to spars supplies slow heat release well
also.
