I figured that was the range of times the new models would do. Hopefully I can get mine into that range next time out now that I know my rubber was 21% too heavy.
I gave my A6 the old college try last Saturday but kept getting tangled up with the wall. It looks like you're going to be a multiple winner in the postal unless somebody new gets in the game.

Hi All,
The new rules models fly quite nicely and at this point seem to
approach the better times of any year's version of the rules. Hi-
aspect ratio models fly really well, regardless of the wing area
used! They do seem to fly somewhat faster though. This weekend at
Albany, OR with a 35" ceiling, in their first outing, most models
were getting times from 4:00 to 4:44. These times were all by
mentors, except for one, Rebecca Altig, a past Middle School National
Champion who I believe reached 4:08 and maybe more.
Using an adjustable prop to determine what works well in practice is
a good idea; but like a lot of things, just don't use it in official
competition. As was mentioned, once you have a good configuration,
modify a solid prop to those specs. I guess that it is up to the
particular person or group that writes each set of event rules to
decide what exactly "Science" consists of.
