Don
I got a couple of pounds of 2/99 maybe 2 years ago. I went through it and separated it at the splices per usual practice and then tested the 3 sections. Two were not too bad and one was very good - I would say very close to 5/99. As Bob Bailey says you need to test it. Maybe you'll get lucky and find some good sections.

I've recently acquired some 2/99. I know it is a good batch, but I've never
flown with it. As I understand it is not quite as good as the best 5/99, but
in the same league as 7/97 and 3/02.

How is this stuff holding up to the aging process? I want to know whether to
use it as soon as possible or take my time.

  Thx

  DD
