cg/stab size

Just a dum question, on the '07 SO models I'm working with, using a full
size stab (max allowed0 and the cg just behind the back of the wing,
stability seems questionable. So, I built a 25% smaller stab, wonder
where the ideal cg would be ? Both stabs are flat with round vertical
tips o (twin fin). I'm using a simplex airfoil, doubt it makes muxh
difference with the 2" chord, makes me wonder about using a flat section
also. Maybe get a chance to try in gym tomorrow - the schools
hurricane center
