I should have been more specific. When I said that I "reversed" the prop, I meant that I
flipped it around relative to the thrust bearing so that it would still point the same way when
mounted on the back. I just pulled it out of its dusty box, and I can see that my memory is
at fault here. I thought that I wound it normally, but that was obviously not the case.
