You should not mind the result of outdoor Nats (though 7th place was not so
bad) because thermal-picking is ALL at 2mins max outdoor contest.
I have believed that Jim may be the last human who can break 90 sec barrier
by HLG, not DLG.
And yes, as Mark says, HLGs gains an advantage over DLGs at breezy
conditions.
Though I have entirely stopped developing and building HLGs and DLGs since
FAI rule change, I look forward to the progress of HLGs and DLGs.
