I aprechiate this is probably outdoor... however the model was
devised from the Indoor world record holder.
Firstly congratulations to Bruce for his achievement... Bruce and I
flew a DLG whilst he was over here for the British Nats. The model
(spinup-36) is being developed rapidly into a superb performer,
consistency being the greatest advantage over a moving surface
model.
i assume the wind speeds were low as the DLG's are trickier in
breezy conditions?... I am positive that this form of HLG will only
increase HLG poularity allowing those with `tired ol arms & backs'
to compete again at the highest level.
I will probably be banished from this group for plugging however ..
stingaeroproducts can help!...
Off to Cardington tomorrow for some F1D flying.. yipeee!
