Thanks for the nice comments Mark. I really enjoyed
attending the event this year and got to know many new
people gave me lots of tips, encouragement, and
inspiration.

Yes, all my models were transported from Vancouver BC
by motorcycle! I made a special box that fits
perfectly in a large backpack, and two other boxes
that squeeze into the saddle bags with enough room for
other necessities on top. The box in the backpack
this year fit 3 complete AROG's, and the side bags fit
2 ministicks, 2 small ornithopters, and props with
room to spare. It is a beautiful ride, about 7-8 hrs
through amazing country. Despite the 120kmh wind
passing by, the model boxes are well sealed and the
models have never been damaged in transport.

This list has been an amazing resource to me, as well
as Lew Gitlow's and Ron Williams book. With such a
minimal (virtually non-existant) indoor scene in my
area, I owe many thanks to you guys for what I know.
I prefer to design my own models to building from
plans, and try to make them look good as well as
perform.

Well, I think I am going to get back to work on my new
35cm model (thanks Colin for inspiring me, if you are
on this list!) Hope to see many of you again next
year at Kibbie.

Chris

PS - just a couple corrections- I am from Vancouver
BC, not Ontario, and in the list of results in a
previous post, my AROG time was blank - I got 13:55 on
my best flight.
