Carbon Fiber URGENT

Hey guys,
  Im leaving for Kibbie in two days and I was suppose to be finishing up two more F1D VP props but I cant find the piece of carbon fiber I have. Does anyone know where I can get carbon fiber locally? Hobby World has thicker carbon fiber but will it be ok if I were to sand it down from thicker carbon fiber for the yoke and adjuster screw holder?
