Hey John,
Boy this summer has been great and Im planin on 4 F1Ds. I've been building everything except F1D. Finally I'm building F1Ds and pics will be on their way soon. I hope you'll find them "kool".
I wanted to ask you about some tips which you could give me about turning in good OFFICIAL flights. I already got the talk from Steve about just wind up the partial motors and go instead of spending time prewinding bla bla bla. I think the Kibbie report said that you were just flying so the plane didn't go above the curtain rod? I also had an incredible time with the jetstream up there causing my model to literally drift to the other side of the building, but can good times still be achieved without going above the curtain rod?

Haha- I really just overkilled the design this time. 34" model loaded with boron and it is in fact on weight. (Reads 1.197 g on my scale now w/VP prop) We'll see wut it does....

Tim (hoping for 30+ min.) Chang

I'm interested, Tim :)

I'm also expecting you to qualify in the F1D regional! Based on what I
saw last year, your models are certainly capable. Let me know how it
goes.
