In my opinion the wording "made from one piece of wood" would prohibit bracing. In the final analysis it depends on what the CD thinks is legal. I've had questions raised at nearly every event about my carbon spars. The CD has always ruled them legal since there is nothing in the rules about wing, stab or prop construction.
